Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Rwanda (CILT Rwanda) and Polytechnic have signed an MoU to strengthen professional education and develop the skilled workforce needed to support Rwanda’s ambition of becoming a regional hub for trade, transport, logistics and supply chain management.

The sector continues to face a shortage of professionally trained practitioners, with many entering through experience rather than formal training. This partnership positions logistics and transport as a career of choice for young people while developing globally competent professionals.

2. Connecting Academic Learning with Industry Needs

The collaboration will support research, industry-led hackathons and practical solutions that address real-world challenges, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry needs while driving innovation and sustainable growth.
