About
The Chartered Institute of logistics & Transport (CILT) is a professional body representing the transport and logistics industries worldwide. It is a membership-based organization with over 35000 members in over 35 countries. The International Board is known as CILT International.
Objective
The principal objective of the CILT is “To promote and encourage the art and science of logistics and transport” which it achieves both through its membership and professional qualifications and courses. The Institute has a programme of teaching and qualifications which lead to an Introductory Certificate, Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Transport and Logistics.

CILT AFRICA FORUM-2023
The CILT Africa Forum is a major continental event for the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT) International, organized annually and rotated among the Africa member countries. The Africa Forum provides a platform for Governments, Individuals, Students, and Corporate Organisations to share, learn and promote professional and business interests.

RWANDA IS BUILDING CLIMATE RESILIENT TRANSPORT SYSTEMS
Kigali, 29th November,2021- Over the last decade, Rwanda has invested in building efficient and resilient transport systems. Guided by the country’s Green Growth and Climate Resilience Strategy (GGCRS), the Government of Rwanda has carried out numerous initiatives to promote sustainable mobility and the green economy at large.

CILT RWANDA INAUGURATION CILT
Rwanda was inaugurated on the 30th of October 2021 in Kigali, and coincided with the first official graduation of its certified members in the country. Overall, CILT Rwanda graduated 67 members, including 14 women.
